The invention discloses a preparation method of a mineral particle reinforced thermal insulation ceramic material, the method comprises the following steps: step 1, stirring the components at 120-150 DEG C for 40-60 minutes in a nitrogen protective atmosphere to obtain a mixed system, wherein the stirring speed is 400-500 r/min; step 2, carrying out ball milling on the mixed system in the step 1 for 2-4 hours, and drying; and step 3, sintering the system dried in the step 2 at 900-1200 DEG C for 4-6 hours, molding, and naturally cooling to room temperature to obtain the mineral particle reinforced thermal insulation ceramic material. The mineral particle reinforced thermal insulation ceramic material prepared by the method is simple in process, the aluminum oxide microspheres and the zirconium oxide microspheres are added into the ceramic material, the thermal insulation effect of the material can be greatly improved, the thickness of the thermal insulation layer is reduced, the production cost is reduced, resources are saved, and the material is harmless to the environment.
