The invention provides an anti-pinch protection automatic door for a shopping mall. The anti-pinch protection automatic door comprises two protection doors, a frame, a controller and a driving mechanism, wherein the two protection doors are oppositely and vertically arranged, and the two protection doors are installed on the frame in a sliding mode; and two movable openings are formed up and down in the opposite sides of the two protection doors, protection plates are movably installed in the movable openings, driving pieces which are used for driving the two protection plates to enter and exit from the two movable openings respectively are installed on the protection doors, and the driving pieces are controlled to operate by the controller. The anti-pinch protection automatic door has the advantages of novel design and simplicity in operation; and when the two protection doors are closed and a person or a pet appears between the two protection doors, an infrared light signal emitted by an infrared emitter cannot be received by a photosensitive sensor, an electromagnet is controlled to power on to operate by the controller, the electromagnet can magnetically attract strip-shaped iron, the strip-shaped iron can move on a sliding rail so as to drive two rotating rods to rotate, and the two protection plates can penetrate through the movable openings to the outside of the protection door.
