The invention discloses an ecological sponge bearing brick and a preparation method, wherein the ecological sponge bearing brick comprises a surface layer and a bottom layer; the surface layer comprises the following components in parts by mass: 6-10 parts of white sand, 6-10 parts of black sand, 5-9 parts of cement, 1-5 parts of water, 1-5 parts of an additive and 1-5 parts of fiber; and the bottom layer comprises the following components in parts by mass: 6-10 parts of 5mm granite, 6-10 parts of 3mm granite, 5-9 parts of cement, 1-5 parts of an additive and 1-5 parts of fibers. According to the ecological sponge bearing brick disclosed by the invention, the surface layer formula adopts the white sand and the black sand as aggregates, the bottom layer formula adopts the granite of 5 mm and the granite of 3 mm, and the fiber is assisted as a reinforcing material, so that the mechanical property of the water permeable brick can be greatly improved, and the ecological sponge bearing brick has good properties such as softening resistance, fracture resistance and tensile strength; and meanwhile, under the condition of a fine surface layer, the permeability coefficient can reach 2.0 or above.
