The buffering energy dissipation assembly comprises a device body, the bottom of an inner cavity of the device body is provided with a first water inlet cavity and a second water inlet cavity, the first water inlet cavity is fixedly installed at the bottom of an inner cavity of the device body, and the second water inlet cavity is fixedly installed at the top of the first water inlet cavity. According to the buffering energy dissipation assembly, water flow generated by front impact of the device is drained through the second water inlet cavity, a third water guide pipe and a fourth water guide pipe and reaches a buffer valve part, and partial functions of the water flow are converted into potential energy of a spring and kinetic energy and internal energy of hydraulic oil through pressure relief and energy dissipation of a buffer valve, and when the water flow containing larger kinetic energy cannot be instantaneously converted for energy dissipation, the water flow can return to the external environment along a first water outlet pipe discharging device and a second water outlet pipe discharging device, so that energy dissipation buffering of the water flow is achieved, and the impact resistance and the stability of a whole dam are improved.
