The invention discloses a ceramic needle bar for an industrial sewing machine and a preparation process of the ceramic needle bar. The needle bar of the sewing machine comprises a needle bar body and a needle bar head, wherein the needle bar body is axially fixed to a sewing machine mounting head, a sewing machine needle insertion hole is formed in the lower end of the needle bar head, and a sewing machine needle is fixed by a bolt through a side face fixing hole. The ceramic needle bar can be integrally formed by a ceramic material, or can be formed by detachably connecting the needle bar head made of a metal material and the needle bar body made of the ceramic material. The preparation method of the detachable ceramic needle bar comprises the following steps: forming a primary blank of the needle bar body, pre-hardening and firing the primary blank, performing near-size processing on the primary blank, sintering a crystal, performing connection processing on the crystal of the needle bar body and the metal needle bar head, and performing net-size processing on a finished product. According to the ceramic needle bar and the preparation process thereof, the ceramic needle bar has the characteristic of high wear resistance, the overall performance of the needle bar is improved, engine oil leakage is completely eradicated, the yield of cloth production is increased, and meanwhile, the cost can be effectively reduced.
