The invention discloses a supporting device and method for a sawtooth-shaped floor slab structure. The supporting device comprises a steel beam, plane overhanging pieces, inclined supports and edge sealing pieces, wherein one ends of the plane overhanging pieces are fixed on the steel beam, the other ends are connected with the edge sealing pieces, a sawtooth-shaped floor slab is arranged above the steel beam, the lower bottom face of the sawtooth-shaped floor slab is attached to the plane overhanging pieces, the edge sealing pieces are arranged on the outer sides of sawteeth of the sawtooth-shaped floor slab, the structures of the edge sealing pieces are matched with the structures of the sawteeth, the inclined supports are arranged below the sawtooth protruding points, one ends of the inclined supports are connected with the plane overhanging pieces, and the other ends of the inclined supports are connected with the steel beam. According to the supporting device, the inclined supports are arranged below the sawtooth protruding points, the strength of the floor slab structure is enhanced, the edge sealing piece structure is matched with the sawtooth structure, laying of the sawtooth-shaped floor slab is facilitated, construction is easy and convenient, and labor and time are saved.
