The invention provides a box-type building module, a box-type modular building and a construction method of the box-type modular building. The box-type building module comprises a top frame, a bottom frame, a plurality of stand columns and at least one wall body; the bottom frame comprises a plurality of bottom beams connected end to end; each bottom beam comprises a bottom beam body and a bottom beam connecting piece connected to the bottom beam body; a bottom beam connecting hole is formed in each bottom beam connecting piece; the plurality of stand columns are erected between a top beam and the bottom beams; stand column connecting holes are formed in the stand columns; the top of the wall body is fixedly connected with the top beam; end mounting holes are formed in the two ends of each wall body, and the wall body is detachably connected with the stand columns through fasteners; and bottom mounting holes are formed in the bottom of each wall body, and the wall body and the bottom beams are detachably connected through fasteners. When the box-type building module is used, the wall body is only fixedly connected with the top beam and is not connected with the bottom beams and the stand columns, so that the lateral rigidity of the box-type building module is reduced, the overturning force of the box-type modular building and the stress of each node under the same deformation are reduced, and the anti-seismic capacity of the box-type modular building is enhanced.
