The invention belongs to the technical field of electronic cigarette accessory production, and particularly relates to a low-temperature sintered high-strength electronic cigarette atomization core porous ceramic which comprises the following raw material components in percentage by mass: 0.1-10% of food-grade aluminum-containing phosphate, 35-65% of diatomite, 20-30% of quartz powder and 10-15% of a pore-forming agent. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing materials, carrying out compression molding, cooking and sintering to obtain the porous ceramic. The method has the advantages of easily available raw materials, low cost, short production period, few steps, mild reaction conditions and strong operability; and a prepared porous ceramic atomization core is high in strength and apparent porosity, the problems of frangibility and easiness in powder removal are solved, the user experience is improved, the production cost is relatively low, and the production period is relatively short.
