The invention discloses a household wastewater filtering device. The device comprises a water storage tank, a wastewater inlet pipe, a tap water pipe, a filter, an overflow pipe, a tap water inlet pipe and a normally-closed electromagnetic valve, wherein a water inlet of the normally-closed electromagnetic valve communicates with the tap water inlet pipe, a flushing head communicates with the normally-closed electromagnetic valve, a water level sensor is installed on the filter, a relay is installed in the water storage tank, the water level sensor is connected into an input loop of the relay, the normally-closed electromagnetic valve is connected into an output loop of the relay, an inverted U-shaped pipe is mounted in the water storage tank, one end of the inverted U-shaped pipe communicates with the overflow pipe, and the other end of the inverted U-shaped pipe communicates with the inner bottom of the filter. According to the household wastewater filtering device, when a filter screen is blocked and the water level in a filter barrel rises, due to the effect of the inverted siphon, waste water is discharged out of the water storage tank, the water level drops, the input loop of the relay is connected, the normally-closed electromagnetic valve is opened, and water in the tap water pipe flows to the flushing head through the normally-closed electromagnetic valve to flush the filter screen.
