The invention relates to a processing method of a diatomite wall material capable of efficiently removing formaldehyde. The diatomite wall material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 40 parts of diatomite, 30 parts of shell powder, 20 parts of diatomite ceramsite and 25 parts of a composite adsorption component. Steel wires can be distributed in the diatomite wall material smeared on a wall, the strength of the diatomite wall material is improved, and the diatomite wall material is prevented from being easily damaged. The processing method comprises the following steps that S1, raw materials and water for processing the diatomite wall material for efficiently removing formaldehyde are prepared; S2, a diatomite wall material formed by uniformly stirring and mixing the raw materials and water is loaded into a container; S3, the steel wires for enhancing the strength of the diatomite wall material are inserted into the container; and S4, the diatomite wall material is extruded out of the container to be attached to the wall, and the steel wires are driven to be synchronously attached to the position between the wall and the diatomite wall material while the diatomite wall material is extruded out.
