The invention provides a hardware linkage method based on rope transmission and a lifting sliding door and window, and belongs to the technical field of doors and windows. According to the linkage method, a rope is used as a transmission component to conduct linkage on hardware; a lifting sliding window comprises a door and window sash and a frame material; a load-bearing lifting assembly used for driving the door and window sash to ascend and descend is arranged in a sash frame of the door and window sash and comprises a load-bearing assembly used for counteracting the dead weight of the door and window sash and a driving assembly used for generating vertical lifting power for the door and window sash; one or more bearing assemblies and the driving assembly are in transmission through a rope forming a closed loop; and the door and window sash or/and the frame material is/are provided with a sealing assembly which is matched with lifting of the door and window sash to reduce a gap between the door and window sash and the frame material, the door and window sash is driven by the load-bearing lifting assembly to ascend or descend to reduce the gap, and the sealing performance of the door and window is guaranteed. According to the hardware linkage method based on rope transmission and a lifting sliding door and window, the sliding door and window structure has the advantages of being stable and smooth in transmission, good in sealing performance and capable of saving energy.
