The invention discloses artificial quartz stone capable of resisting bacteria by using terahertz waves and a preparation method of the artificial quartz stone, belonging to the field of decorative materials. The artificial quartz stone comprises the following components by mass: 8-12% of quartz stone resin, 40-60% of quartz sand, 25-33% of quartz powder, 0-20% of solid particles, 0.08-1% of a coupling agent, 0.08%-0.25% of a curing agent, 0.1%-0.5% of an antibacterial agent and 0.05-0.7% of color paste, wherein the antibacterial agent is a material capable of continuously radiating terahertz waves. According to the artificial quartz stone capable of resisting bacteria through the terahertz waves, the antibacterial agent capable of continuously radiating the terahertz waves is used for replacing a silver ion antibacterial agent to prepare an artificial quartz stone product; and good harmful gas decomposition and sterilization effects are achieved, environmental pollution is reduced, cell viability can be enhanced, and human health is benefited.
