The invention discloses an automatic adjusting and cleaning type gutter inlet system and a construction method thereof. The gutter inlet system comprises a rainwater well, a grate assembly which is connected to a gutter inlet in the top of the rainwater well, an impurity removing device which is connected to the upper middle portion of the rainwater well, a first stretchable device which is connected to a position between the impurity removing device and the rainwater well, a rainwater pipeline which is connected to one side of the bottom of the rainwater well, a laser receiving device and a garbage filtering channel which are connected to the bottom of the rainwater well, a filter screen which is connected to a connector of the bottom of the rainwater well and the rainwater pipeline, a second stretchable device which is connected to the top of the filter screen and the top of the rainwater pipeline, and a flowmeter which is connected to the bottom of the inner side of the rainwater pipeline and located on the downstream of the filter screen. According to the gutter inlet system , through the arrangement of an adjusting module and a rotating shaft, the drainage hole diameter is advantageously enlarged through automatic rotation; through the arrangement of the impurity removing device and the first stretchable device, cleaning is advantageously carried out when the rainwater holes are blocked; and through the arrangement of the filter screen and a second stretchable device, garbage at the bottom of the rainwater well can be cleaned advantageously.
