The invention discloses a ventilation and noise reduction system for a main transformer of a transformer substation. The ventilation and noise reduction system comprises the main transformer and a solid wall; the solid wall is arranged around the main transformer in a surrounding mode and is in a closed state; the ventilation and noise reduction system comprises a ventilation corridor and a sound insulation assembly; the ventilation corridor is arranged on the lower portion of the ground of the solid wall, and the ventilation corridor is provided with a first ventilation opening and a second ventilation opening; the first ventilation opening is located in the ground on the outer side of the solid wall, and the second ventilation opening is located in the ground on the inner side of the solid wall; and the sound insulation assembly comprises a plurality of sound insulation plates, and the sound insulation plates are arranged in the ventilation corridor in a staggered mode. Compared with the prior art, opening facilities such as ventilation shutters and the like are not arranged on the upper wall body of the ground, transverse transmission of main transformer noise is completely blocked, and the noise problem caused by opening holes in the positions of the ventilation shutters and the like is thoroughly solved.
