The invention discloses hollow glass and a production process thereof. The hollow glass comprises two glass plates and a sealing body installed between the two glass plates, the sealing body comprises an inner spacing frame and an outer spacing frame, the inner spacing frame and the outer spacing frame are arranged between the edges of the two glass plates, a cavity between the two glass plates is divided into a middle cavity and an outer ring cavity by the inner spacing frame and the outer spacing frame, and the middle cavity and the outer ring cavity are mutually independent; and a drying agent used for absorbing gas moisture in the middle cavity is arranged in the inner spacing frame, a standby drying agent is arranged in the outer spacing frame, and an auxiliary part used for conducting or closing the communication relation between the middle cavity and the outer ring cavity is arranged in the outer ring cavity. According to the hollow glass and the production process thereof, the two layers of spacing frames with the drying agent are arranged between the two glass plates, once the drying agent in the middle cavity is full of water and cannot be continuously absorbed, the middle cavity and the outer ring cavity communicate through the auxiliary part, and the standby drying agent in the outer ring cavity can be further utilized to absorb the water.
