The invention provides a novel steep wave material formula, and relates to the field of blank production. The novel steep wave material formula comprises the following components in parts by weight: 25-35 parts of Inner Mongolia Dongsheng soil, 12-22 parts of Shaanxi Jingyang soil, 32-42 parts of Shuyi alumina, 3-13 parts of carclazyte and 3-13 parts of high-potassium low-iron feldspar. According to the novel steep wave material formula, a large amount of high-plasticity clay, namely, Inner Mongolia Dongsheng soil, is used, so that the drying performance of the whole formula is greatly improved; the Jingyang soil in the Shanxi province is used as a main flux, and a small amount of potassium feldspar is added so that the firing range is wide, and the product firing is facilitated; the blank glaze is well matched so that the glazing bending strength is improved by about 28%; the blank body produced by adopting the novel steep wave material formula has good stability and is low in cost.
