The invention discloses a method for repairing a load transmission capacity of an old cement concrete pavement joint. The old cement concrete pavement comprises a pavement slab, a base layer located below the pavement slab and a foundation located below the base layer. The joint is located on the pavement slab. The method comprises the following steps that 1, holes are obliquely drilled in the two sides of the joint respectively, and the lower end of each hole is positioned in the foundation; step 2, a steel pipe is added into each hole; and step 3, a cement paste is injected into each steel pipe. According to the method for repairing a load transmission capacity of the old cement concrete pavement joint, the problems that when a dowel bar or a pull rod is arranged on an existing joint, a pavement excavation area is large, materials cannot be recycled, a certain amount of cement concrete materials need to be consumed for repairing, and the cost is increased are solved.
