The invention relates to the field of bridge engineering protection, in particular to a novel sheath which comprises a strip-shaped body provided with a first end and a second end. The body comprises a metal layer and a fireproof thermal insulation layer which are arranged in sequence; one side surface of the fireproof heat-insulating layer is fixedly connected with the side surface of the metal layer, and the side surface, deviating from the metal layer, of the fireproof heat-insulating layer is fixedly connected with the peripheral surface of a bridge cable; the body can cover the peripheral face of the bridge cable and enable the first end and the second end to be connected to form a ring, at the moment, the two end faces of the fireproof thermal insulation layers located at the first end and the second end abut against each other, and the two ends of the metal layers located at the first end and the second end are fixedly connected. According to the novel sheath provided by the invention, the fireproof and water-tight performance of the bridge cable can be improved. The invention further provides an installation method of the novel sheath and a bridge cable.
本发明涉及桥梁工程防护领域,尤其是涉及一种新型护套,包括本体,本体呈带状,本体具有第一端和第二端;本体包括依次设置的金属层和防火隔温层;防火隔温层一侧面与金属层侧面固定连接,防火隔温层背离金属层的侧面用于与桥梁缆索周面固定连接;本体能够覆设至桥梁缆索周面并使第一端与第二端相接形成环形,且此时,位于第一端和第二端的防火隔温层的两端面相抵接,位于第一端和第二端的金属层的两端固定连接。本发明提供的新型护套,能够提升桥梁缆索的防火密水性能。本发明还提供了新型护套的安装方法及桥梁缆索。
