The invention relates to a construction method for an overhanging formwork of a cornice. The construction method comprises the following steps: step 1, processing profile steel; step 2, mounting a pre-buried pressing ring; step 3, overhanging positioning of the profile steel: after a roofing board structure construction is completed, performing cantilever positioning of the profile steel on the roofing board according to the arrangement position of the profile steel in the design drawing; step 4, constructing a non-overhanging part of the upper part of the roofing board, pouring an interlayer and the non-overhanging part of a pitched roof, and pre-embedding diagonal draw hanging rings on a pitched roof beam; step 6, fixing the profile steel, arranging diagonal draw bars between lug plates of the profile steel and the pre-embedded diagonal draw hanging rings, positioning the profile steel according to the arrangement position of the profile steel in the design drawing, and then fixing the profile steel through pre-embedded pressing rings; step 6, tensioning the diagonal draw bars; step 7, installing and fixing connecting beams, and welding and fixing the connecting beams perpendicular to overhanging steel beams to form a supporting platform; step 8, building an overhanging structure supporting system on the supporting platform; and step 9, conducting concrete pouring. The supporting stability of the overhanging structure supporting system on the supporting platform is ensured.
