The invention discloses a mounting method and a connecting structure of a profile steel support. The mounting method comprises the steps that S1, the earth is excavated to a first-layer supporting face, and pre-burying is completed; S2, a second profile steel support is pre-installed on a first profile steel support; S3, a first profile steel support is installed on the first-layer supporting face; S4, the earth is excavated to a second-layer supporting face, and pre-burying is completed; and S5, a second profile steel support is lowered and mounted on the second-layer supporting face. The connecting structure is arranged based on the method and comprises a hanging assembly connected with the first profile steel support and a fixing assembly connected with the second profile steel support, and the hanging assembly is connected with the fixing assembly through a pulley assembly. The problem of vertical hoisting of the profile steel support in a narrow space is solved.
