The invention discloses a multifunctional aquatic plant sewage treatment device, belonging to the field of sewage treatment. The multifunctional aquatic plant sewage treatment device comprises a floating frame, wherein two ends of the floating frame are movably mounted on a river levee through limiting rails, a floating body is fixed on the lower side of the floating frame, the floating frame is provided with a plurality of net cages, the net cages are uniformly provided with mesh holes in a penetrating manner, and water surface cleaning mechanisms are mounted on the left side of the front portion of the floating frame and on the right side of the rear portion of the floating frame. According to the invention, the device can prevent aquatic plants from being scoured due to riverway water rising, water falling and a high water flow speed, ensures sewage treatment effect, avoids economic loss, cleans and discharges impurities such as algae and garbage floating on a water surface, prevents the impurities from influencing the sewage treatment effect of the aquatic plants, beautifies the river surface, facilitates taking-out of the aquatic plants from the net cages, clears away impurities in the net cages and guarantees smooth entering of the sewage into the net cages, so the sewage treatment effect of aquatic plants is guaranteed; and in addition, the aquatic plants can be conveniently replaced when the aquatic plants are dead.
