The invention relates to the technical field of refractory materials, in particular to a long-life VOD refining ladle molten pool magnesia-alumina-carbon brick and a preparation method thereof, and the magnesia-alumina-carbon brick is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 50-70% of fused magnesite, 10-20% of fused white corundum, 6-16% of crystalline flake graphite, 1-4% of metal silicon powder, 0.08-4% of metal aluminum powder, 1-10% of an additive and 2-8% of thermosetting phenolic resin. The aluminum oxide is introduced into the mature low-carbon magnesia carbon brick for a VOD steel ladle molten pool, the magnesium oxide and the aluminum oxide react to produce spinel, the thermal shock resistance and the sinterability of the molten pool brick are improved, and the prepared VOD steel ladle molten pool brick solves the problems of cracking and peeling caused by poor thermal shock resistance of an existing traditional VOD steel ladle molten pool brick. A refractory lining material for the molten pool of the VOD steel ladle built by the molten pool brick is low in melting loss rate, the consumption of the refractory material for the molten pool of the steel ladle per ton of steel can be obviously reduced, and the service life of the molten pool brick of the steel ladle for VOD refining is longer.
本发明涉及耐火材料技术领域,尤其为一种长寿命VOD精炼钢包熔池用镁铝碳砖及其制备方法,由下述重量百分比的原料制成:电熔镁砂50~70%、电熔白刚玉10~20%、鳞片石墨6~16%、金属硅粉1~4%、金属铝粉0.08~4%、添加剂1~10%以及热固性酚醛树脂2~8%;本发明通过在成熟的VOD钢包熔池用低碳镁碳砖引入氧化铝,利用氧化镁和氧化铝反应生产尖晶石,提高熔池砖的热震稳定性和烧结性,制得的VOD钢包熔池砖,解决了现有传统VOD钢包熔池砖因热震稳定性差导致的开裂和剥落问题,该熔池砖砌筑的VOD钢包其熔池用耐火衬料熔损速率较低,能明显降低钢包熔池用耐材的吨钢消耗,使钢包熔池砖走VOD精炼的寿命更长。
