The invention discloses a barrier gate with an adjustable handrail length for intelligent community. The barrier gate comprises a barrier gate body with a handrail, an extension rod is arranged at the end, away from the barrier gate body, of the handrail, the extension rod comprises a plurality of extension sections and a fixing mechanism, and first limiting grooves extending in the length direction of the extension sections are formed in the upper surfaces and the lower surfaces of the extension sections correspondingly; second limiting grooves corresponding to the first limiting grooves are formed in the upper surface and the lower surface of the handrail correspondingly. The fixing mechanism comprises a U-shaped fixing support and a plurality of fixing bolts arranged between the two ends of the fixing support and the extension rods. The guardrail has the following advantages and effects that the length of the extension rod needs to be adjusted according to different conditions during installation, when the length of the extension rod is adjusted, a plurality of extension sections close to one end of the guardrail are taken down, and after the two ends of the fixing support move towards the second limiting grooves, the guardrail abuts against the extension sections; then the fixing bolts are in threaded connection in the threaded holes for fixing, so that the overall length of the handrail is adjusted.
