The invention discloses a comprehensive earth excavation method for a large-scale cover-excavation top-down T-shaped transfer subway station. The method includes the steps that an enclosure structure and piles of the transfer subway station are constructed, and a cover plate is placed on the upper end part of each pile; a negative layer of earthwork below the cover plate is excavated, and the negative layer of earthwork is divided into a plurality of excavation areas; the design entrance and exit of a negative first floor of the transfer subway station is transformed into a lateral soil outlet, and a vertical soil outlet is reserved in the cover plate; a trestle is arranged in an overhead mode, the excavated earthwork is piled around the trestle through an excavating machine, the earthwork is lifted to an earthmoving vehicle through a long-arm excavator on the trestle, and the earthwork is transported outwards through the lateral earth outlet or the vertical earth outlet; after excavation of the earth of the negative first layer is completed, the trestle is dismantled, and a main body structure of the negative first layer is constructed; and the steps are repeated until the construction of each layer of space is completed.
