The invention discloses gate opening and closing equipment for water conservancy irrigation. The equipment comprises two fixed wall bodies, rotating shafts are arranged on the side walls of the two fixed wall bodies, the two rotating shafts are rotationally connected with gate plates, moving grooves are formed in the two fixed wall bodies, and rotating motors are fixedly connected to the inner walls of the two moving grooves. Output shafts of the two rotating motors are both fixedly connected with threaded rods, the ends, away from the rotating motors, of the two threaded rods are both rotationally connected with the inner walls of the moving grooves, the two threaded rods are both sleeved with nuts matched with the threaded rods, and the side walls of the two nuts are both rotationally connected with a plurality of supporting rods; and grooves are formed in the side walls of the two gate plates. A traditional lifting type gate can be changed into a rotary opening and closing type gate, space is saved, meanwhile, blockage of opening and closing of the gate by sundries in the using process is prevented, normal opening and closing of the gate are guaranteed, and the workload of operators is relieved.
