The invention discloses an assembly type suspended ceiling suitable for a flat floor slab and a mounting method of the assembly type suspended ceiling. The specific structure of the assembly type suspended ceiling comprises a floor slab base layer and an original wall surface, and is characterized by further comprising a suspended ceiling panel installed below the floor slab base layer, a vertical plate vertically arranged below the suspended ceiling panel, and a low-position plate connected to the vertical plate and an original wall surface and being horizontally arranged. The assembly type suspended ceiling can be applied to mounting structures of various assembly type suspended ceilings, and different structures can be split and matched according to conditions.
