The invention discloses a steel structure roof and solar panel connecting structure and a connecting method. The connecting structure is characterized in that the connecting structure comprises a structural member between a conventional steel structure slope roof panel and a solar roof panel, and the structural member comprises a steel structure metal roof panel, a steel structure roof truss, a positioning fixing member, a bolt, a water collecting tank, a water guiding tank, a fixing member, a bolt and a solar panel; the method comprises the following steps: firstly, connecting the fixing member and the bolt with the metal roof panel and the steel structure truss, then connecting the water collecting tank with the fixing member, then installing the water guide tank, fixing the water collecting tank and the water guide tank together by the bolt through the fixing member, finally installing the solar panel, and arranging a waterproof plug at the lower part of the water collecting tank and the upper part of the metal roof panel to form a complete structure. The connecting structure is simple in structure, convenient to install and arrange and used for the connecting position of the steel structure roof and the solar panel, and after connection, the structure is good in waterproof performance, firm and durable.
