The curtain wall construction device comprises a mounting seat fixed at the top of a building, a motor fixed at the top of the mounting seat and a moving seat arranged at the top of the mounting seat in a sliding manner in the vertical direction; winding drums are rotationally mounted on the opposite inner sides of the moving seat, winding ropes are wound around the peripheral faces of the winding drums, and a gear is fixed to the output end of the motor; a gear ring engaged with the gear is rotationally mounted on the side, close to the motor, of the moving seat; the side, away from the motor, of the gear ring is fixedly connected with the winding drums; a scaffold is fixed at the bottom ends of the winding ropes; the side, close to a backup plate, of the scaffold is slidably connected with a pressing piece in the width direction of the backup plate; and a driving mechanism used for driving the winding drums to be separated from the motor is arranged between the pressing piece and the winding drums. The problem that deviation exists between the descending height of the scaffold and the mounting position of the curtain wall can be solved.
