The invention discloses a water retaining structure of a curtain wall opening window. The water retaining structure is used for retaining water of an opening window on a curtain wall, and comprises a cross beam, the opening window, a hinge and a water retaining assembly, the cross beam is a part of the curtain wall structure, the hinge is connected with the opening window and the cross beam, the opening window is opened around the hinge, and the water retaining assembly is arranged between the opening window and the cross beam; the water retaining assembly comprises a water retaining rubber strip and mounting grooves, the two ends of the water retaining rubber strip are inserted into the mounting grooves, and the mounting grooves are formed in the opening window and the cross beam respectively; the middle part of the water retaining rubber strip is bent; and the bending angle of the bending section is an acute angle. The water retaining structure wraps the rotating part of the opening window, the two ends of the water retaining rubber strip are firmly installed, the water retaining rubber strip can be bent and deformed according to the preset when being extruded by opening of the opening window, the overall water retaining and waterproof effect is good, and the service life of the rubber strip is long.
