The roller shutter limiting device comprises a bottom beam fixed to the bottom edge of a curtain cloth of a roller shutter and limiting plates arranged on supporting frames at the two opposite ends of a winding drum of the roller shutter, wherein each limiting plate comprises a blocking part formed by bending and extending from the lower portion of the supporting frame to the interior of a curtain cloth lifting movement space, the blocking parts are arranged between a winding drum and the bottom beam to block the bottom beam, and the blocking parts are provided with a slot allowing the portion, close to the side edge, of the curtain cloth to penetrate through.
