The invention provides a preparation method of a multicolor ceramic cover plate, which comprises the following steps: A) carrying out vacuum defoaming on zirconium oxide slurry with different colors and then carrying out tape casting to obtain tape casting diaphragms with different colors; b) laminating a plurality of layers of casting films with different colors, pressing and forming, putting into a mold with a concave pattern, and carrying out temperature isostatic pressing to obtain a green body, wherein the color of the first layer close to the mold is different from that of the second layer; (C) sequentially subjecting the green body to glue discharging and sintering to prepare a blank; D) carrying out post-processing on the blank, and removing the convex part to obtain the ceramic product with different color patterns. According to the preparation method disclosed by the invention, the logos with different colors are inlaid in the product, and the technical problem that the product has gaps or is easy to crack after sintering is solved by improving the slurry components and the preparation process. The invention also provides a multicolor ceramic cover plate.
