The fire hydrant comprises a device body, a screw rod, a fixing base, a heating mechanism, an air cylinder and a gear; a protection device is fixedly installed on the side face of the device body; a fire hydrant top cover is welded to the top end of the device body; meanwhile the interior of the fire hydrant top cover is in threaded connection with the screw rod; the top end of the screw rod and an adjusting handle are fixedly installed; the adjusting handle is arranged on the outer side of the fire hydrant top cover; the other end of the screw rod and a blocking block are fixedly installed; the blocking block is arranged in the device body; the fixing base is welded to the bottom end of the device body; and a sealing gasket is arranged at a joint of the fixing base and the device body. According to the fire hydrant capable of locking the connecting pipe based on the water pressure, the situation that water in the fire hydrant from being frozen, and the fire hydrant cannot be normally used is prevented; and meanwhile, the connecting effect of the connecting pipe and the fire hydrant is improved through the water pressure, so that the anti-loosening and fastening effects are achieved, and the situation that large impurities enter into a fire hose, the blocking of the fire hose is caused, and water spraying is affected is prevented.
