The invention provides a crowbar for dismounting a building steel die. The crowbar comprises a bar body and a protection mechanism installed on the bar body; the protection mechanism comprises a baffle and a buffering assembly; the baffle is hinged to the bar body; and the buffering assembly is used for buffering the lower end face of the baffle to be close to the bar body. According to the crowbar for dismounting the building steel die, the protection mechanism is installed on the bar body of the crowbar, so that effective protection on an operator, especially protection on the hand of the operator is achieved through the baffle and a buffering mechanism of the protection mechanism when objects fall off in the working process of the crowbar; and meanwhile, the buffering mechanism can buffer downward rotation of the baffle, so that the personnel safety problem caused by secondary bouncing of articles falling on the baffle is prevented.
