The invention discloses an intelligent community protection method and system based on rainwater collection. The method comprises the following steps of obtaining weather information in real time, analyzing and whether there is rainfall information in a bound city region in real time, if yes, extracting rainfall information in real time, and analyzing whether there is a rainfall exceeding a preset rainfall in real time; if yes, controlling an ultrasonic sensor to obtain accumulated water height information in real time and analyzing whether waterlogging occurs inside the internal area of a community or not in real time, and if yes, controlling a pipeline well to enter an open state, controlling a water delivery pump to pump rainwater inside the pipeline well, guiding the rainwater into a water storage pond area of a connected community fountain, controlling a booster pump to spray out the rainwater inside the water storage pond through a spray head, calculating matched fountain height information in real time, controlling the booster pump to enable the rainwater inside the water storage pond to pass through the spray head to reach the height consistent with the fountain height information calculated in real time, and analyzing whether the real-time fountain reaches the maximum height or not in real time, and if yes, sending waterlogging alarm information to a user terminal in the community area, and automatically closing an underground garage in the community area.
