The embodiments of the invention provide an open joint mounting assembly of a decorative plate, an open joint structure of the decorative plate and an assembly method thereof, relates to the technical field of building decoration, and aim to improve the assembly efficiency during beautiful joint mounting of the decorative plate. The open joint mounting assembly of the decorative plate comprises an inserting groove component, a first inserting component and a second inserting component, wherein the inserting groove component is used for being fixedly connected with a wall and comprises an inserting groove; the first inserting component is used for being fixedly connected with a first decorative plate and comprises a first inserting section, and the first inserting section is attached to the inner wall of one side of the inserting groove; the second inserting component is used for being fixedly connected with a second decorative plate and comprises a second inserting section, and the second inserting section is attached to the inner wall of the other side of the inserting groove; and the first inserting section and the second inserting section are located on the opposite sides of the inserting groove correspondingly, and an inserting and fastening piece is inserted and fixed between the first inserting section and the second inserting section, so that the first inserting section, the inserting and fastening piece and the second inserting section are inserted and fixed into the inserting groove. The open joint mounting assembly is used for wall decoration.
