The municipal road drainage system comprises a roadbed layer, a roadbed soil filling layer and a road surface layer are sequentially laid on the roadbed layer, drainage grooves are formed in the two sides of the road surface layer, drainage pipelines communicating with the drainage grooves are arranged at the bottoms of the drainage grooves, drainage layers are arranged between the roadbed soil filling layer and the road surface layer, the bottoms of the two sides of the drainage layers communicate with the drainage pipelines through obliquely-arranged water guiding grooves respectively, a filter plate is arranged at the tops of the drainage grooves, the middle of the filter plate is sunken downwards to form a groove, a plurality of evenly-distributed filter holes are formed in the bottom of the groove, a drainage cover is installed at the top of the filter plate, a dredging net plate is transversely arranged in the drainage grooves, a plurality of dredging columns capable of being inserted into the filter holes are arranged at the top of the dredging net plate, and a lifting device capable of enabling the dredging net plate to move relative to the filter plate is arranged at the bottom of the dredging net plate. Water entering the pavement structure can be rapidly drained, the drainage pipelines can be prevented from being blocked, and normal drainage of the pipelines is guaranteed.
