The invention discloses a full-bolted connection joint and method for a box-shaped beam column with a plastic hinge, and relates to the technical field of fabricated buildings. The full-bolted connection joint comprises a box-shaped column, a cantilever box girder, a box-shaped beam and a connecting assembly; the cantilever box girder is connected with the box-shaped column; and the cantilever box girder is connected with the box-shaped beam through the connecting assembly. Connecting plates with nuts are adopted on the inner sides of a welded box-shaped beam, the number of parts can be reduced, loss is reduced, and installation is convenient; and a rolled box-shaped beam adopts a connecting box girder, the connecting rigidity is large, the number of assemblies is small, and the performance is excellent. Bolt connection is adopted, box-shaped beam column joints are free of field welding seams, welding residual stress or residual deformation, and the quality is easy to guarantee. The field labor intensity is low and the efficiency is high; and the requirements of fabricated buildings and green construction technologies are met. Bolts are adopted as mature products, an applicable theoretical basis is complete, and the manufacturing cost is low. Existence of a plastic hinge of the cantilever box girder can be controlled through the closing mode of mounting holes of the cantilever box girder, and the connection joint is suitable for multi-story and high-rise buildings in areas with or without seismic fortification requirements.
