The invention provides a forming method of a building containing carbon dioxide and the building. The forming method comprises the steps that S1, carbon dioxide gas under normal pressure serves as a foaming tool to be filled into a closed container, and a foam heat preservation container is obtained; and S2, a building carrier is filled with the foam heat preservation container filled with the carbon dioxide, and s building material containing the carbon dioxide is formed. In the application, the carbon dioxide building material is used for storing carbon dioxide, when outdoor temperature rises, the carbon dioxide in the container is changed into a gas state from a liquid state, and the process absorbs external heat; on the contrary, the heat is released, so that purposes of heat storage, temperature regulation and fire fighting are achieved. Therefore, carbon dioxide is used as a building thermal insulation material, so that purpose of building energy conservation is achieved. In addition, carbon dioxide also has a flame-retardant function and can be used as a fire-fighting facility of the building.
