The invention relates to a concrete pump, comprising: - a frame (12); - a supporting leg (23), the supporting leg (23) having a supporting foot (34), the supporting foot (34) being extensible relative to the supporting leg (23); and - a drive (26) for driving a movement of the supporting leg (23) relative to the frame (12). A camera image of a hazard zone (24) around the supporting leg (23) is produced by a monitoring sensor (26, 27, 28, 36, 41). The drive (26) is controlled by means of a remote control (43). The data information is transferred to the remote control (43) via an interface (44). The invention also relates to a method for supporting a concrete pump. On the basis of the received data information, it can be determined, by means of the remote control, whether the movement of the supporting leg (23) causes a hazard.
