The present application provides a ceramic material and a preparation method therefor. The ceramic material comprises: a ceramic principal phase, the ceramic principal phase comprising a solid solution formed by Al2O3-MgO-La2O3; and in the solid solution, the molar ratio of Al2O3, MgO and La2O3 is (20.90-23.10): (2.85-3.15): (1.90-2.10). By means of the described method, the present application can provide a ceramic material having a frequency-temperature coefficient in the range of +-12 ppm/ DEG C.
