The invention discloses an asphalt concrete road reconstruction and extension roadbed construction process which comprises the following steps: step 1, carrying out compaction degree detection on the side of an old roadbed, and judging whether the compaction degree of the side of the old roadbed meets a preset standard or not; step 2, only cleaning sundries on the side of the old roadbed when the old roadbed meets the preset standard, and performing crushing, flattening and cleaning pretreatment on the side of the old roadbed which does not meet the standard and cleaning sundries on the side when the old roadbed does not meet the standard; step 3, carrying out leveling and cleaning pretreatment on the pre-reconstruction and extension area; step 4, laying materials on the areas treated in the step 2 and the step 3; step 5, flattening the materials laid in the step 4, and keeping the new roadbed and the old roadbed at the same horizontal height; and step 6, checking whether the compactness of the newly paved roadbed is consistent with the height of the old roadbed or not. The invention solves the problem of insufficient connection strength of new and old roadbeds caused by direct extension and no treatment on the side of the old roadbed in the existing road reconstruction technology.
