A main keel is arranged to be a closed frame, N connecting points are formed in the main keel, the center point of the main keel is located in a polygon defined by the N connecting points in sequence, the first ends of N connecting pieces are connected with the N connecting points in a one-to-one correspondence manner, and the second ends of the N connecting pieces are used for fixing the elevator shaft wall; and when the main keel is installed on the elevator shaft through the connecting pieces, the main keel can be in a horizontal state all the time and cannot turn over, a steel fence net is laid on the main keel, the steel fence net can play a role in supporting workers, and therefore the workers are prevented from falling into the elevator shaft, and therefore by means of the standardized horizontal protection tool for the elevator shaft, the problem that the workers fall into the elevator shaft can be effectively solved.
