The invention relates to a structure for reinforcing a masonry structure through angle steel bracket steel tie rods and adopting steel base plates for anchoring end parts and a construction method. The structure comprises angle steel brackets, the steel base plates, through-wall bolts, an original structure outer wall and an original structure wall body; the angle steel brackets are arranged at the lower part of a floor or a roof panel of the masonry structure and the corners of the original structure wall body; one flange of each angle steel bracket clings to the lower skin of the floor or the roof panel, and the other flange of each angle steel bracket clings to the wall surface of the original structure wall body; the angle steel brackets are symmetrically arranged at the two sides of the original structure wall body; and the angle steel brackets are connected with the original structure outer wall through the steel base plates. The invention provides a reinforcing method for anti-seismic reinforcement of the masonry structure by adopting the angle steel brackets instead of steel tie rods, and particularly, the end parts of the angle steel bracket steel tie rods are anchored with the original structure outer wall by adopting the steel base plates.
