The invention discloses a single-side formwork supporting system and a using method thereof. The single-side formwork supporting system comprises an assembly type stress frame, a secondary keel, a main keel and a formwork panel which are connected through formwork bolts, further comprises an oblique bolt assembly and a vertical bolt assembly which are arranged on the assembly type stress frame, and also comprises rails located at the bottom of the assembly type stress frame and comprising longitudinal rails and transverse rails, transverse idler wheels and longitudinal idler wheels, the transverse idler wheels and the longitudinal idler wheels are arranged at the bottom of the assembly type stress frame, the transverse idler wheels are arranged on the transverse rails in a contact manner, and the longitudinal idler wheels are arranged on the longitudinal rails in a contact manner. By means of the single-side formwork supporting system, the construction precision and quality of a to-be-poured wall can be improved, when a wall of a next area is constructed, the single-side formwork supporting system is moved through the rails and the idler wheels, and position adjustment of the single-side formwork supporting system is convenient and labor-saving.
