The invention discloses a rainwater recycling system for a high-rise building, belonging to the technical field of rainwater recycling. The rainwater recycling system comprises a side shell which communicates with a rainwater recycling box through a connecting pipe, wherein a dredging mechanism and a sweeping mechanism are arranged in the rainwater recycling box; the side shell comprises a purification box and a positioning assembly; the side shell and the rainwater recycling box are both mounted at the top of a mounting bottom plate; the purification box with a sliding rail is slidably mounted in a sliding groove formed in the side shell; a plurality of purification layers are arranged in the purification box; and the purification box communicates with an external water storage tank through a drainage pipe and a first electromagnetic valve. According to the invention, a cleaning brush and a dredging mechanism are mounted in the device, so foreign matters above a porous water filtering plate can be automatically cleaned; a rainwater purification device is arranged, so rainwater is purified and recycled; and the purification box is cleaned by the device, so the filtering effect of the purification box is improved, the frequency and workload of manually replacing the purification box are reduced, and economic cost is reduced.
