The invention discloses a preparation method of low-cost mullite fibers. The preparation method comprises the following steps: firstly, preparing an aluminum carboxylate solution; preparing a silicon additive; and mixing the aluminum carboxylate solution with the silicon additive, reacting to obtain precursor sol, and concentrating and aging to obtain the mullite fibers. According to the invention, in the production process, harmful gases such as chlorine, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide and the like are not generated, the raw materials are low in requirement and easy to store, commercially available raw materials can be directly used, the technical problem that the commercially available aluminum hydroxide raw material cannot be used for preparing spinnable mullite fibers is solved, and the preparation process is simple and environmentally friendly.
本发明公开了一种低成本莫来石纤维的制备方法,通过先制备羧酸铝溶液;制备硅添加剂;将所述羧酸铝溶液与所述硅添加剂进行混合,反应后得到前驱体溶胶,再进行浓缩老化,得到莫来石纤维。本发明的生产过程中不产生氯气,二氧化氮,二氧化硫等有害气体,原料要求低,易于储存,可直接使用市售原料,解决了市售氢氧化铝原料不能制备可纺性莫来石纤维的技术问题,而且制备过程简单,绿色环保。
