The invention discloses a road warning sign mounting device and a using method thereof. The road warning sign mounting device comprises a first fixing column and a second fixing column mounted at the lower end of the first fixing column, wherein the second fixing column is rotationally connected with the first fixing column through a first fixing rod; a fixing pipe sleeve arranged in the second fixing column, wherein the fixing pipe sleeve is rotationally connected with the second fixing column, a transmission bevel gear is installed on the outer portion of the fixing pipe sleeve, a threaded rod is installed in the fixing pipe sleeve, the threaded rod is connected with the fixing pipe sleeve in a matched mode through an internal thread, and a fixing strip is installed at the lower end of the threaded rod; and a warning board fixing shell arranged at the upper end of the first fixing column, wherein the warning board fixing shell is fixedly connected with the first fixing column, and a transparent baffle is installed on one side of the front end of the outer portion of the warning board fixing shell. The fixing strip is moved and transmitted to a conical rod through a transmission gear set, the conical rod extends out of the second fixing column to be inserted underground, and the stability of the mounting device is improved.
