The method is characterized by comprising the following steps that a, after basement roof concrete pouring is completed, a post-cast strip construction joint is cleaned; b, bricks and masonry mortar are prepared; c, a water retaining ridge with the height of 150 mm and the width of 120 mm is built at the position 5 cm away from the edge of the post-cast strip construction joint after a wire is pulled; d, plane plate sealing is started after the water retaining ridge is built; and e, red paint and white paint are alternately sprayed on the surface of the upper portion of a formwork, for finished product protection, and reducing trampling. The construction method for post-cast strip hard isolation sealing and side face water retaining ridge building has the advantages that construction operation is easy, the manufacturing cost is low, more safety is realized, stress is more reasonable, rainwater is controlled to flow into the post-cast strip and steel bars in the post-cast strip, disordered seepage of accumulated water of the post-cast strip of a basement roof is effectively prevented, and objects falling from high altitudes are prevented.
