The expressway noise insulation board comprises a first noise insulation board and a second noise insulation board, wherein the first noise insulation board is provided with a groove for accommodating the first noise insulation board, and the first noise insulation board is slidably arranged in the groove; a driving mechanism used for driving the second noise insulation board to move up and down is further arranged in the first noise insulation board, wherein the driving mechanism comprises a gear, a rack, a rotating shaft and a wind wheel, the wind wheel is rotationally arranged on the first noise insulation board through the rotating shaft, the gear and the wind wheel are coaxially arranged, and the rack meshes with the gear; the rack is arranged in the groove in a sliding manner, and the rack is fixedly connected with the second noise insulation board; a torsional spring is arranged on the rotating shaft. By means of the speed of an automobile on a highway, the area of the noise insulation board can be increased without other power when automobiles passes and generate noise, so that the noise reduction effect is reduced; when no automobile passes, the noise insulation board can descend, so that daylighting of residents is not affected.
