The concrete faced rockfill dam comprises a dam foundation, a toe board located on the dam foundation, a dam body located on the downstream side of the toe board and arranged at the upper end of the dam foundation and a drainage gallery, the drainage gallery comprises a horizontal section and a slope section inclining upwards from the horizontal section, the horizontal section is arranged in the dam foundation far away from the toe board, and the slope section extends towards the left bank or the right bank of the downstream of the dam body; and a plurality of drainage pipelines are arranged on the horizontal section and communicate with the horizontal section and the dam body. Compared with the prior art, the concrete faced rockfill dam adopts the drainage system arranged downstream, the drainage system and each layer of the dam body do not interfere with each other during pouring, the drainage system can be flexibly arranged according to needs, the problem of construction damage does not exist, and the concrete faced rockfill dam is simple, reliable and effective.
